We always welcome new faces along to our Monday evening rehearsals where you will get a chance to meet our Music Director Sam Evans and get a feel for what we are like. We’ll make you very welcome! Our new season starts on Monday 11th September.
As a full member of the choir, some basic music-reading ability is helpful but more important is a willingness to attend rehearsals regularly and do some practice at home. Sam, a professional voice coach and singing teacher, provides a lot guidance in each rehearsal focussing on the quality of sound and "lifting the music off the page" in an encouraging and supportive environment. In addition, we offer a lot of support for our singers in the forms of workshops run by professional singers, rehearsal aids and extra practice support within our community if needed.
