| Description: |  Harrow Choral Society is now busy preparing for its concert on Saturday 5th April at 5:30pm at St Alban’s Church, North Harrow, which will include Stainer's The Crucifixion, Rheinberger's Stabat Mater, Bruckner’s Christus Factus est and Sanders’ The Reproaches. This programme of music is based on the liturgical season of Lent which relates the story of Christ’s passion and death, ending with the everlasting hope and joy of Easter. Under the inspired musical direction of Sam Evans, and expert accompaniment of composer and arranger Paul Ayres, we look forward to performing a stirring interpretation of these works with soloists Thomas Herford, tenor and Chris Webb, bass. |
