We are delighted to announce that our first post-pandemic concert will be our Christmas Celebration on Saturday 18th December 2021. It will be in the usual setting of Harrow School's historic and highly atmospheric Speech Room - Harrow on the Hill.

Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus crisis, the concert has been cancelled. We are hoping to re-scheule for October - date to be confirmed. The programme will include Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalms and the lovely Requiem by Maurice Duruflé.

The concert repertoire for our annual Awayday will be highly accessible and enjoyable music from literally 6 centuries of composition including works by William Byrd, Henry Purcell and, from the 21st century, Arvo Pärt – the world’s most performed living composer.
Admission to the concert is free of charge. There will be a retiring collection in support of St Saviour's Organ Restoration Fund.

We will be leading a major performance of Verdi's Requiem, considered by many to be the outstanding work of the classical choral repertoire. Two other choirs will be joining us - Harrow Philharmonic Choir and Stanmore Choral Society.

As part of the celebration of our 80th anniversary season, we will be performing the magnificent Handel's Messiah in the historic Speech Room of Harrow Public School.

Our Awayday this year will be to Faversham in Kent where we will be performing in St Mary of Charity Church - the largest and one of the oldest Parish Churches in Kent. Admission to the concert will be free and there will be a retiring collection in support of the church's coninuous programme of restoration and improvement. The particular project that the collection will support is the proposed new sound system.

Our annual Away days are important and very popular events in our calendar. They provide us with the opportunity for an enjoyable, informal and relaxed day out together and to perform concerts in less familiar surroundings and to audiences who don't know us.

As established choir members will know, we organise an Away-day in the summer each year - except when we do an overseas tour, eg our summer 2011 tour to Brussels. These Away-days are very popular and provide a really welcome opportunity for choir members to spend a relaxing day in each other's company, away from the usual surroundings of Harrow.
